Unless you specify otherwise, our standard cleaning includes:

  • Dusting open surfaces
  • Wiping, sanitizing, and scrubbing: counters, sinks, faucets, toilets, tubs/showers
  • Wiping all kitchen and vanity cabinets & handles
  • Wiping all appliances, including handles
  • Emptying garbage cans
  • Sweeping & vacuuming all floors

The aforementioned items will be given first priority. The below list of items you have marked as high-priority will be given second priority. We will work diligently to get through all the standard items plus all the priorities you have indicated, starting with #1 and working down the list. Please note that time is usually our biggest constraint. As such, we cannot always get to every item on the standard list plus all the priority items.

We want to make sure that the items you most want cleaned are given attention first. Please list your priority tasks, in order of importance. Please be as specific as possible. A list of priority items is available for your review.

Health-hazards:
In the event that your cleaner is concerned about the presence of a health hazard like mold or asbestos, the cleaner will simply avoid entering the room in question. If this happens, you will be notified of this condition, and the cleaner will spend his/her time on the tasks not involving the afflicted room.
 
Procedures:
Upon arrival, your cleaner will “Recon the AO” which means s/he will walk through the entire area to be cleaned, assessing its current state. If it is determined that s/he will be unable to complete the priority list within the allotted time, that information will be passed along to you as soon as possible so you can make a decision about how to proceed. 
You may notice your cleaner taking more pictures either upon finishing a particular room, or at the conclusion of the job. This is a normal documentation procedure for us and allows us to augment our descriptions with photos in your AAR, improving our level of transparency.
 
Payment Policies:
All payments are due, in full, within 5 calendar days of the date listed above. Late payments will incur a 10% late fee. The email and phone number listed above will be used for all billing and service-related communications. Unless otherwise specified in writing, our rate is $50/hour for residential and $75/hour for rental properties. Please note that our cleaners do not handle payments. Other than any tips you wish to give them, please do not directly pay your cleaner.
 
Sales Tax:
Please note that New York State requires us to charge 7% sales tax. Sales tax is not included in our quoted rates but will be added onto your total bill.
 
Cancellations:
Keep in mind that if you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 72 hours of the date/time listed above, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the appointment described above. To avoid this, make sure you email, call, or text us as far in advance as possible. In the event our cleaner is unable to gain access to the building at the date and time of the appointment, this will be considered a last-minute cancellation and will be subject to the same fees.
